“Baby Photographer Hertfordshire” you may well think that’s quite an odd title for a blog post, but it’s a pretty spot on description for what I am.
You see I chose from the very beginning to be specialist.
I adore every type, style, genre of photography. But I wanted to focus, to specialise so that I could be the best I could possibly be.
Photos are important and baby photos are priceless. So I always wanted to be 100% sure that anyone who was wonderful enough to book me made the right decision.
To be confident in that I needed to practice, to develop, to train and being very specialist has meant that all of my expertise, time and learning was very targeted and channeled into one style, genre and type of photography.
I don’t take the title of baby photographer Hertfordshire lightly, these are your memories that I’m capturing.
Babies grow so fast, especially in that first year and I’m honoured to be able to capture these wonderful stages for parents across Hertfordshire, London and even further afield.
All of my photography sessions take place in my Hemel Hempstead studio in the heart of Hertfordshire. It’s a white room flooded with natural light and it’s this space that enables me to capture the beautifully natural portraits that I’ve become known for.
Almost 95% of my photography bookings are for babies from newborn (just a few weeks old), to when they start sitting (7-10 months) and first birthday cake smashes.
I know these ages so well, having recently experienced them with my 2 boys (I have a 2 and a 3 year old), but also from specialising almost exclusively in photographing babies of these ages.
I know what their capabilities are, whether they’re likely to be rolling, sitting, clapping. What toys they’re most likely to enjoy, whether that’s nursery rhymes, a wooden stacking toy, a teether, or bubbles. When they’re likely to get tired and how to use these moments in a session to create a stunning gallery (I normally have parents cuddle their little one and I snap away capturing these perfect, authentic little moments).
So you see being a specialist baby photographer Herfordshire has it’s benefits and I can’t wait to meet more Hertfordshire babies soon.
