Logan’s 1st Birthday Cake Smash

Logan’s 1st birthday cake smash was so much fun.

His family drove over to my Hemel Hempstead studio from Leighton Buzzard, so he had a little snooze on the way over.

When Logan arrived we moseyed on into the studio and started with just a quick chat.

It’s nice to start slowly as it gives the baby a chance to get used to the space.  So we picked out some outfits while chatting to Logan and letting him choose which toys he’d like to play with.

I couldn’t get over how beautiful his eyes were, they’re just incredible and he was fascinated by the camera which is great.

We started off  just having some play time. He played with the toys he’d chosen and we cheered him on as he knocked the block tower down, played the maracas like a pro and popped the bubbles.

Then out came the delicious birthday cake. Logan wasn’t totally convinced and preferred to let mum and dad dig in while he sat by them.

But when the bath came out, his infectious giggle was unstoppable.

Definitely a water baby and he had a great time splashing about while playing with the rubber ducks.
