Do you know what, it can sometimes be a bit of a dog eat dog world.
& that’s certainly true of photography.
Luckily I’ve met some of the nicest people you could imagine through photography.
But I do sometimes hear sad stories where a strange sense of competition, or perhaps jealousy has driven people to do strange things.
Well I say to heck with that!
If I can help a fellow photographer in anyway then yippee!
One thing I thought could be helpful is if I finally pull my finger out and create a list of all the vendors and suppliers that I’ve sourced my super cute bits for sessions from.
I’ve found some amazing bits while up all hours with my boys and regularly get asked where bits are from.
So here you are, a full list of all the lovelies that I have discovered.
Cake Stand:
- I found the cutest little cake stand in 2016 & have adored it ever since. It’s super dinky and holds a 4inch cake perfectly. It’s by an American seller on Etsy called Pinkrosecottage and to see the listing CLICK HERE.
ONE Letters:
- I found these letters via Instagram and immediately fell in love, they are so beautiful and amazingly well made. The seller (Love Letters by Tillie) is based in Australia and for her website CLICK HERE
Mini bath tub:
- I use this in every 1st birthday cake smash and absolutely love it. It’s really sturdy which is very important from a safety point of view and is made of a resilient plastic so will last forever. The seller is Lux S and for their website CLICK HERE
Toys:
- It’s absolutely no secret that I adore everything Sarah & Bendrix sells. Almost all of the gorgeous wooden toys in the studio are from them & I honestly couldn’t recommend them more. To have a gander at all of the beautiful things they sell CLICK HERE
Cakes:
- In Hertfordshire we are ridiculously spoilt with not 1 but 2 INCREDIBLE cake makers. They are honestly superb and I can’t recommend them more. So The Curson Cake House and Lotti & Lu, you guys really well and truly rule!
