Berkhamsted Newborn Photographer – Winona’s Photos

Winona’s family needed a Berkhamsted newborn photographer and luckily being in Hemel Hempstead it’s only a 15 minute drive.

When Winona arrived I was flawed by her hair, it’s nothing short of awesome. Newborn photographers love lots of hair, it’s so unusual for a newborn baby to have such a full head of beautiful brown hair.

As a newborn photographer I prefer a more natural and baby led style of photography. I let the baby lead and then structure their newborn photos around how they’re feeling and the positions that they prefer to lie in.

It was when we did some photos with mum that I could see very clearly that Winona was most comfortable on her front, snuggling onto her mummy’s chest. So once she fell into a deep sleep I made sure we integrated this into her newborn photos.

I adore capturing family photos as part of my newborn photo sessions and this was certainly true in Winona’s case. Her family are just so lovely and it was such a pleasure to meet them all.

As part of Winona’s newborn photos we captured so many stunning images of her and her family, I particularly love the photos of her with her sister Mila.

I always incorporate family photos as part of my newborn photo sessions, they’re so important and although the baby is always the focus, it’s amazing to capture newborn photos that show how much their family loves them.
