If you’re here you must be planning a trip away and need to have some photos taken of your little ones for their passports.
We went through the same process last year and I know first hand how tricky it can be to get a passport acceptable photo of your little one.
I receive a lot of enquiries regarding passport photos and thought it would be worth drafting a quick blog on it all.
You see I don’t offer passport photos, but I can point you in the right direction so that you can quickly and easily have them done.
What we did
For my boys we went to the Post Office, but you need to check that it’s one that offers this service.
The Post Office in Adeyfield Square in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire offers to take passport photos and check your applications.
It was only £10 for the photos and although it’s all very simple with a mobile phone & an app, it does take the hassle out of fiddling around with it yourself.
Plus they can also check your passport application there to make sure it’s perfect before you send it off.
If you wanted to do it yourself
There are lots of apps and websites now that make it easy to take your passport photos yourself, you just need a white background/wall and some patience.
I found this one which appears to only be £3.99 to get 4x passport photos printed and sent to you – http://www.passportandidphoto.com
But I’m sure there are many more so it’s worth looking around.
